Upland, CA (March 16, 2024) – Police responded to the scene of a serious pedestrian crash in Upland on Thursday, March 14th. The collision took place at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Benson Avenue.

According to a report from the scene, the victim was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision. She was taken to an area hospital. There is no update on her condition at this time. Following an investigation, police found the driver of the vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and charged with felony DUI. The female pedestrian’s identity has not been released at this time. An investigation is ongoing and no further information is available.
