Apple Valley, CA – One Hurt in DUI Crash on SR 18

Apple Valley, CA (July 26, 2024) – Injuries were reported in a DUI crash that took place in Apple Valley on Thursday, July 25th. The collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on State Route 18.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Cadillac collided with a 2016 Kia Optima while the Cadillac was performing an unlawful U-turn. A passenger in the Cadillac was ejected in the crash. The passenger suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center. Following the impact, the Cadillac driver was arrested and charged with DUI causing bodily injury. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident at this time.
