Bakersfield, CA (July 22, 2024) – Two people were killed and one was injured after a serious accident in Bakersfield on Saturday morning, July 20th. The incident took place around 2:00 a.m. on Buena Vista Boulevard, just west of Adobe Boulevard.

According to a report from the scene, a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling eastbound on Buena Vista. At the same time, a Chevrolet Silverado was going westbound on the same road. The two cars collided head-on with one another. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. A 39-year-old male passenger in the Tahoe was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. No one involved has been identified. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. There is no further information available.
