Cathedral City, CA (July 10, 2025) – A devastating crash involving a semi-truck left at least two people dead and others injured on Thursday, July 10, in Riverside County.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the I-10 Fwy, just east of Date Palm Dr, near Cathedral City. Dashcam footage shows the big rig, which was hauling a large trailer, traveling in the far-right lane before suddenly veering across all lanes toward the center median. As it moved across the freeway, the trailer began to tip over.
