Los Angeles, CA (December 13, 2024) – An injury car crash occurred Friday evening at approximately 7:09 p.m. in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles. The incident took place at the intersection of W 3rd St and S Serrano Ave. According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department, emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene following a 911 call alerting authorities of the collision.  

Upon arrival, first responders found two cars involved in the crash. Paramedics promptly evaluated the victims and transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment. While the exact details of their injuries remain unclear, authorities have confirmed that one person sustained critical injuries and was taken to a local medical center.  

Traffic on W 3rd St and S Serrano Ave was affected for several hours as officers worked to clear the scene. Several lanes were closed while the investigation and cleanup took place. LAPD officials believe speed may have contributed to the accident, though the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
