Apple Valley, CA – One Killed in Crash Involving Police Car on Bear Valley Rd.

Apple Valley, CA (June 30, 2024) – Officials in Apple Valley responded to the scene of a fatal crash on Saturday, June 29th. The accident occurred just after 4:00 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, just west of Kiowa Road.

According to a report, a police vehicle and a red four-door sedan collided with each other under unknown circumstances. The driver of the sedan suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene while the police officer suffered minor injuries. There is no word on the identities of those involved. The roadway was shut down for approximately five hours while officials investigated the incident. Motorists were asked to find alternate routes of travel. No further information has been released at this time.
