El Monte, CA (November 18, 2024) – An injury commercial building fire occurred on Monday morning at 9712 Enloe St. Firefighters arrived at 11:46 AM PST to find the building, a grow house, fully engulfed in flames and heavy smoke. The fire escalated quickly, prompting a second alarm for additional units. Crews focused on controlling a gas fire and conducting an exterior overhaul due to unstable beams. Hazmat teams were deployed for safety.

At least one individual sustained severe burn injuries and was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. Authorities also managed traffic disruptions in the area.
