Brentwood, CA – One Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on 405 Fwy.

Brentwood, CA (July 11, 2024) – Police in Brentwood responded to the scene of a wrong-way accident with injuries on Thursday, July 11th. The crash happened on the 405 Freeway near the Getty Center.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a driver was traveling northbound on the 405 Freeway when their vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound car. Both vehicles suffered heavy front-end damage as a result of the crash. At least one person was trapped inside their automobile and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The crash caused all northbound lanes of the road to be closed while the incident was investigated. No one involved has been identified. There is no further information available.
