Temecula, CA – Five Hurt in Three-Car Crash on Highway 79

Temecula, CA (June 16, 2024) – A serious crash happened near Temecula on Saturday, June 15th. The incident occurred in the community of Aguanga around 3:30 p.m.

Police were called to the scene in the southbound lanes of Highway 79, just west of Sage Road. According to a report from police, a total of three cars were involved in the crash. Five people were injured. Two of the victims sustained major injuries and were airlifted to the hospital while the other three motorists were taken by ground ambulance. One of the three patients suffered moderate injuries while the other two were treated for moderate injuries. The cause of the accident has not been released at this time and no one involved has been identified. An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
