Sun Valley, CA (March 19, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred on Tuesday in Sun Valley, claiming the life of a 23-year-old man. The collision, reported by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), happened at approximately 6:55 p.m. in the 6700 block of Lankershim Blvd, north of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway.

According to LAPD Officer Charles Miller, the victim was traveling northbound on Lankershim Blvd when his car collided with a 36-year-old driver heading southbound on the same street. The impact of the crash resulted in the immediate fatality of the 23-year-old man. Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

LAFD personnel worked swiftly to extract the vehicles involved in the crash, while LAPD officers managed traffic and ensured the safety of responders and other road users.
