Santa Ana, CA (July 14, 2024) – Police in Santa Ana responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident on Friday evening, July 12th. The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. on the 5 Freeway.

According to a report, the pedestrian was struck in the southbound lanes of the freeway. The victim was found lying on the right shoulder of the road suffering from critical injuries. When police arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the crash scene. There is no word on the events leading up to the collision at this time.
