Los Angeles, CA – Two Deputies Hospitalized Following Crash on E. Whittier Blvd.

Los Angeles, CA (March 18, 2024) – Two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were taken to a hospital after a crash on Monday morning, March 18th. The accident took place just before 1:00 a.m. in the 5700 block of East Whittier Boulevard.

Three deputies traveling in two separate patrol cars were en route to a call regarding a shooting when their two vehicles collided with each other. One of the police cars crashed into a pole and the other struck the side of a building. Two of the deputies were taken to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries following the crash. Neither of the deputies have been identified at this time. There is no information on the cause of the accident. An investigation remains ongoing.
