Los Angeles, CA (July 13, 2025) – A person riding a bicycle died early Sunday morning, July 13, after being hit by a car in South Los Angeles. The crash occurred around 12:50 a.m. at the intersection of Vernon Avenue and South Figueroa Street, according to officials from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Authorities said the car first struck the bicyclist and then hit three parked cars. The cyclist, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
