Los Angeles, CA – 16 Hurt when Metro Bus Collides with Train on Exposition Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA (April 30, 2024) – Multiple injuries were reported when a USC bus and a Metro train collided with one another in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, April 30th. The crash happened just before 12:00 p.m. on Exposition Boulevard at the intersection with Normandie Avenue.
According to a report from the scene, the incident involved the Metro E line train, that was traveling between Santa Monica and Los Angeles. The bus had at least two occupants at the time of the crash. Both were taken to a local hospital with injuries. One victim had minor injuries and the second sustained moderate injuries. Up to 15 people on the train suffered injuries of varying degrees and at least nine of the occupants were hospitalized. There is no information on what caused the accident to occur at this time.
