Adams-Normandie, CA (February 16, 2025) – A two-car crash occurred on Sunday, February 16, under the Interstate 10 Freeway, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident, reported at approximately 7:00 p.m., happened near the intersection of 2207 S Vermont Avenue, near Adams-Normandie.  

According to local authorities, a collision occurred between a sedan and an SUV, both traveling southbound. The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles, and emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) were called to the scene. The fire department was responsible for extricating individuals trapped inside the cars.  

Ambulances arrived shortly after the crash and transported the injured parties to nearby hospitals. One individual was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, while another sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police have confirmed that the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but initial reports indicate that speeding may have played a role.  

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers were on-site to direct traffic and manage the aftermath of the collision. The crash caused temporary traffic delays as both lanes were closed for the duration of the investigation and cleanup. The scene was cleared by 9:30 p.m., and traffic resumed to normal flow.
