Studio City, CA (March 8, 2024) – A fatal hit-and-run collision was reported in Studio city on Thursday, March 7th. The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Ventura Boulevard near Fruitland Drive.

According to officials, a red sedan was traveling westbound on Ventura when the car struck a woman in her 30s. The woman was crossing the street at the time she was struck. The sedan driver failed to stop and was last spotted heading westbound on Ventura. The injured woman was treated at the scene and was later rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Her identity is being withheld at this time pending family notification. Police are offering a reward for anyone who helps to identify the sedan driver. An investigation is ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
