Santa Fe Springs, CA (August 1, 2024) – An incident involving a pedestrian occurred early Wednesday, July 31st, morning on the southbound I-605, just north of Rosecrans Avenue. The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the Rosecrans off-ramp.

Emergency services, including the coroner’s office, arrived promptly. All lanes were reopened by 4:30 AM after the necessary investigations and clean-up were completed.

Information regarding the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently being reviewed.
