San Bernardino, CA – One Killed in Two-Car Crash on Hwy. 38 near Forest Falls

San Bernardino, CA (March 11, 2024) – A crash in San Bernardino County left one person dead and others injured. The accident took place on Saturday, March 9th on U.S. Highway 38 near Forest Falls.

Officials say that the collision involved a Forest Service vehicle and an RV. One of the cars burst into flames following the crash. At least one person died as a result of the accident while two more were transported to a local hospital with major injuries. The cause of the accident is not known at this time. Authorities have not identified the injured victims. The road was closed for several hours following the accident while police investigated and cleared the area. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. The crash remains under investigation at this time. There is no additional information available.
