Los Angeles, CA (August 16, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash during the early hours of Saturday, August 16. The collision happened around 2:25 a.m. at the intersection of Wentworth Street and Wescott Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), a vehicle struck the victim and then fled the scene without stopping. Emergency crews responded and provided medical care to the injured person, who later required transportation to a nearby hospital.
