Inglewood, CA – 10 Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Century Blvd Near Intuit Dome

Inglewood, CA (June 15, 2025) – Ten people were hurt on Saturday, June 14 at night when a car drove onto a curb and struck pedestrians near the Intuit Dome.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on Century Boulevard, following a CONCACAF Gold Cup soccer match between Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Reports say the driver of a westbound vehicle went onto the sidewalk and hit a crowd of people leaving the game.
Two victims, including a 14-year-old, were listed in critical condition Saturday night. The other eight were also taken to local hospitals with less serious injuries.
Authorities have not released the identity of the driver, who was also hospitalized. According to Inglewood Mayor James Butts, early reports suggest the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
Emergency crews, including fire and medical personnel, responded quickly to the scene. Footage from the area showed a damaged vehicle and heavy emergency activity.
Investigators are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
We extend our sincere wishes for a rapid recovery to those injured in this incident.
Pedestrian Accidents in Inglewood
Inglewood is a busy city, and large events like soccer matches can create high-risk conditions for pedestrians. When crowds fill the streets and drivers are tired or distracted, accidents can happen in an instant. The recent crash outside the Intuit Dome is a tragic reminder of how quickly lives can change.
When a car jumps a curb and strikes people walking on the sidewalk, the injuries are often severe. Victims may suffer from broken bones, head injuries, internal trauma, and long-term emotional distress. Recovery can take months or even years, and medical bills can pile up quickly. Some may be unable to return to work or participate in daily activities as they once did.
California law gives injured victims the right to seek compensation when a driver’s negligence causes harm. This includes coverage for medical expenses, missed income, pain and suffering, and other losses. However, victims must act quickly; there are strict deadlines for filing a personal injury claim, and waiting too long can put your case at risk.
Having a pedestrian accident lawyer can help victims navigate these challenges. Legal professionals assist by thoroughly investigating the crash, gathering key evidence, and speaking with witnesses to build a strong case. They also work directly with insurance companies to fight for fair compensation and ensure that your rights are protected at every step.
