Hollywood, CA (December 15, 2024) – An injured two-car crash occurred on Sunday evening in the heart of West Hollywood, blocking all lanes and causing significant traffic delays. The incident took place at approximately 6:56 p.m. at the intersection of Fountain Ave and N Hayworth Ave.

According to initial reports, the crash involved a gray BMW and a gray Honda Accord. First responders, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving multiple 911 calls. Witnesses stated that the impact left both vehicles severely damaged, with one requiring extrication efforts by firefighters.

Authorities confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries remains unknown at this time. Traffic on Fountain Ave and surrounding streets was temporarily diverted while crews worked to clear the scene and restore the flow of traffic.

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
