Commerce, CA (March 8, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash late Friday night, March 7, on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway left at least one person injured and caused significant traffic disruptions.

The accident happened around 11:19 p.m. just north of East Washington Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in the collision, including a dark-gray Toyota RAV4. The impact caused the RAV4 to overturn onto its side, blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided medical attention to the injured. At least one person sustained minor injuries, but authorities have not confirmed if additional individuals required treatment.

Crews worked to clear the wreckage and restore traffic flow. CHP officers are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
